Subject: How to produce a certain effect

Hi, I just found this website so I'm not sure if this question is relevant. But here goes....

I'm trying to create a time worn or old fashioned effect. I've attached a JPG so you can see what I mean. Is there a tutorial out there that describes how to create this effect?

Any help you could give me would be appreciated.

    Your best bet would be to perform a search on Good Tutorials through the use of the search box in the top right hand corner of the main site. Punch in what you are looking for and take a look through the results. There are literally thousands of pages worth of tutorials here so you are bound to find one covering your requirements.
